An important part of East Bay Stonewall's mission is to build political power by increasing the number of openly LGBTQ+ elected people to hold public office at all levels of government, and supporting allies who will advance an inclusive political agenda for racial, social and economic justice.

Stonewall considers making endorsements for federal, state, and local offices as well as local and state ballot initiatives and referenda. Stonewall conducts its endorsements in accordance with its bylaws and the rules of the Democratic Party. Click here to learn more about the process.
