Candidates Eligible for 2024 General Election Endorsement

Candidates are listed in alphabetical order. Only candidates who submitted questionnaires for the stated races -- before the Sept 5th 6PM deadline and are registered Democrats -- are eligible for endorsement. 

The endorsement forum on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 11th (register here) will be broken into TWO sections.

1. City Elections - 6-7:15PM

2. Transit & School Board Elections 7:15-8PM

Each candidate will be given 1 minute to introduce themselves. Candidate questionnaires will be publicly available on the EBSDC Website to help in the voting process for members.

NOTE: The threshold for endorsement is as follows: Where only two candidates apply for the Club’s endorsement for a seat, a candidate must receive at least 60% of the votes cast in order to receive the Club’s endorsement. Where more than two candidates apply for the Club’s endorsement for a seat, a candidate must receive at least 50% plus one of the votes cast in order to receive the Club’s endorsement.
