In addition, the fellow will spend an average of 5 hours per week working remotely from home or school on various organizational tasks. The fellow should have access to a computer with internet.

Responsibilities include:

·      Communications – supporting the execution of the Club’s communications strategy, including posting content on the Stonewall website; preparing email blasts and e-newsletters; and drafting correspondence and press releases.

·      Membership – processing and maintaining membership information on current members; following up with non-member event attendees to encourage them to become members; supporting outreach efforts; etc.

·      Events – helping to coordinate Club events, including helping to plan and promote the event, coordinate volunteers, and onsite support.

·      Advocacy – supporting Club effort to promote policies and candidates that are supportive of the LGBTQ community.  The fellow will have an opportunity to interact regularly with board members, local elected officials, and community leaders.
