2026 Primary Candidate Forum and Board Election

The 2026 Primary is fast approaching, and it is time for the East Bay Stonewall Democratic Club to make our voices heard. Please mark your calendars for a critical membership meeting where we will host our 2026 Primary Endorsement Candidate Forum and our annual Board Election.

Meeting & Voting Schedule

• The Meeting: Wednesday, February 11 via Zoom (registration link below).
• The Vote: Voting will take place via OpaVote for eligible members. During this period, we will be voting on both our 2026 Primary Election endorsements and our annual Board election.
• Voting Window: Wednesday, Feb 11 (5:00 PM) – Friday, Feb 13 (5:00 PM). Eligible members will receive an email with a unique link to participate.

Join Our Leadership: Board Applications Open!

We are thrilled to announce that we are looking for passionate, dedicated leaders to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of LGBTQ+ politics in the East Bay.

If you are ready to help lead our club, advocate for our community, and organize for the 2026 cycle, we want to hear from you! We currently have five (5) At-Large seats available and one Executive Officer position (Vice President).

Candidate Endorsement Questionnaires

We are now accepting questionnaires from candidates seeking the club’s endorsement for the 2026 Primary. To be considered for an endorsement, candidates must submit their questionnaire by the deadline below.

• Deadline: Monday, February 2, at 5:00 PM (No exceptions).

Member Voting Eligibility and Questionnaire/Application Review Period 

Important Note on Eligibility: Per our bylaws, you must be a member in good standing at least seven (7) days prior to the vote to be eligible to participate. The deadline to renew or join is Wednesday, February 4.

All submitted candidate questionnaires and board applications will be posted on our website on Friday, February 6. We encourage all members to review these materials prior to the vote.
