About the Club

The East Bay Stonewall Democratic Club was founded in 1982 to give voice to the East Bay LGBT community. The Club was organized and established to:

  • Further equality through the political process and community activism
  • Bring together lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) individuals and our allies to achieve equality for all and to advance progressive values through the Democratic Party
  • Raise the the issue of LGBT rights in political campaigns
  • Lobby for legislation that advances and upholds the rights of LGBT individuals

The Club is governed by active board of committed volunteers according to the bylawsof the organization.

We encourage you to get involved.  You can support our efforts by becoming a member, making a donation, or volunteering your time and talents.
